Vidya's Eco-Education Journey towards Sustainable & a Greener Planet

Vidya’s attitude towards waste management has changed drastically after a workshop led by Premansh Foundation. At first, like many, she viewed vandalism as an inevitable problem of city life.

Premansh Foundation’s expert conducted a detailed session within the communities and schools wherein like Vidya, many other people were explained about types of wastes, importance of segregation and waste disposal. They also explored the complexities of waste management, learning about recycling, composting and the environmental impact of everyday practices around the world, and the workshop lit a fire in Vidya and motivated her to take action in her school and community.

Armed with new knowledge, Vidya became an advocate of waste management and led by example. She pioneered awareness programs at her school, implemented segregated trash cans, and educated her students on the importance of proper disposal. Through her efforts, she not only sensitized the community and children in her school but also inculcated a culture of environmental responsibility among her students.

The change in class didn’t stop. She took her passion beyond the school gates, organizing clean-ups and awareness campaigns in the school and community. Her enthusiasm was infectious, rallying other schools to rethink their waste and embrace sustainable practices.

Premansh Foundation’s waste management workshop didn’t just teach Vidya about recycling; it empowered her to be a catalyst for change in her school and local community. Through her leadership and dedication, Vidya not only changed her own mindset but inspired others to join her in creating a cleaner and greener future.
